Over the past two years we’ve grown our first product, Merlin from zero to 2 million users and raised over $8M in funding. Merlin helps people research, write and synthesize on the browser without you having to switch tabs or carry context across them.

Now, we’re doubling down on something that is fundamentally important for humans to achieve AGI: personal context and long-term memory.

We’re building a best-in-class AI product that understands the full context of everything you say, hear, do, and use that to help you make better decisions without getting overwhelmed by contrasting signals and nudge you to grow towards your life’s aspirations: ones you really want to act on, but don’t know how to.

Our always-on voice platform records every conversation: meetings, hallway chats, late-night brainstorms; and transforms those spoken insights into action items and reminders in the short-term, and nudges and motivation in the long-term. So it’s not just a chatbox, it’s a true intellectual partner to life.

Persistent context remains the biggest roadblock to unlock true AGI potential scale. Today, interacting with AI still means opening an app, sending a message, or logging into a device. That seamlessness isn’t simply there.

Cracking that is very important to make a true AGI scale product that can help us with everything that is happening in our lives. This is a trillion-dollar opportunity, and we’re determined to make it real.

Foyer is founded by us: three IITK Class of 2019 batchmates:

We have raised a total of $8.3 million USD from the know-whos of USA and India, including Better Capital India, Dharmesh Shah (CTO @ Hubspot) and prominent execs from Oyo, NoBroker, Meesho, etc. We have a team of 27.

We were on Forbes 30u30 Asia 2024 list, for our endeavours on Merlin.

We are looking for a Swiss Army Knife generalist, who can act along product, design and growth lines to fully own the arc from market insight → product decision → growth lever → narrative → outcome.
